Musings on art and life.
I guess the title of this post is misleading- Ester Roi doesn’t just paint colourful rocks, but I like the way it sounds. Ester is an artist and inventor from Italy, and currently based in California. Her artwork is intensely colourful, and in short- stunning. All I can really say is “I want.” All of them.
Ester uses the Icarus Drawing board (her invention) and various drawing mediums, such as pencils, artists crayons and oil pastels, to create these wonderful still lives and waterscapes.
You can have a look at her portfolio on her website and read about, or even order, her Icarus Drawing board here. As always, all images link back to Ester’s websites. You can follow her on Facebook here, or check out her portfolio, read her blog and buy originals and prints here.
